Kyoto-style sweets from a long-established restaurant
It was founded in 1856. Shimogamo Saryo is a Japanese restaurant serving Kyoto cuisine and tea kaiseki right next to Shimogamo Shrine, which has been designated as a World Cultural Heritage Site. We cherish the tradition and essence of Kyoto cuisine, discern what will change and what will not, and offer innovative dishes that match the times. The craftsmen are very particular about it, and it is a new type of confectionery that can be enjoyed not only as a tea confectionery but also with sake and wine. They are also on sale at JR Kyoto Isetan Store B1 and JR Kyoto Station Omiyage-Kaido Miyako Store.
