Uji City Botanical Park

A botanical park with seasonal flowers and a relaxing walk.

A park where visitors can appreciate the plants of the four seasons. The park has many attractions, including a greenhouse where tropical and subtropical plants can be enjoyed yearround.
The photo shows “Flower and Water Tapestry,” which depicts themes and characters related to Uji City using flowers. From December, it will feature zodiac designs.

  Every year, the autumn leaves are illuminated from mid- to late November.

  On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from early January to early February, They offer a “Greenhouse Flower Tour” where you can enjoy a variety of greenhouse plants. The photo shows Calliandra, which is in full bloom from January to February.

  From mid-February, spring flowers will be on display ahead of schedule in the “Early Spring Garden.” Enjoy early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms (early March) and weeping cherry blossoms (late March).
