The former Kyoto Central Telephone Office, which was completed in 1926, was turned into a commercial facility in 2001. After it was temporarily closed, it was renovated in 2020 with a total of 20 shops including a cinema, shops and restaurants. "Ace Hotel", established in Seattle, USA, is also making its debut in Japan.
