Nene no michi

ねねの道 vol17 グラビア

The road where Hideyoshi's wife spent the rest of her life after her husband died

This 400 meter stone paved street on the west side of Kodai-ji Temple is named after Entoku-in Temple where Kita no Mandokoro Nene lived for 19 years. The "Daidokorozaka" that Nene went from Entoku-in Temple to Kodai-ji Temple is a slope with stone steps, and the autumn leaves season is also nice. In the middle of Nene no Michi, there is a narrow and curved Kyoto style alley called Ishibei-koji Alley, which you can't miss.
