Established in 1972, the brand "EYEVAN" has been producing high quality eyewear made in Japan (Sabae). Ivan, which has been actively expanding its business overseas, mainly in Europe and the United States, has opened a specialty store featuring its original brand labels "EYEVAN," "EYEVAN 7285," "10eyevan," "Eyevol," and "E5eyevan" all in one place. Based in Gion, Kyoto, the store will transmit world-class eyewear making as "THE EYEVAN. In the modern space created by designer Yasumichi Morita, items of each brand are beautifully displayed, and concierge service by professional staff is available.

  A modern interior with white as its base. In the central atrium, there is an object using a Kyoto fan. It expresses the brand's world view.

  The “EYEVAN tortoise” series was custom-ordered from “osawabekko”, a maker of traditional tortoise shell glasses. The temple on E-0504, part of the capsule collection, was made of tortoiseshell. Although it is a classic Boston shape, the gloss of the tortoiseshell temple gives it a high quality impression.

  Kyomaru Uchiwa 2200 yen

  This is a collaboration item with Komaruyazumii, a long-established store with a history of more than 1000 years. The eye-catching design is EYEVAN's original.

  Tenugui 1650 yen

  An original patterned washcloth with a glasses motif. This is a collaboration item with Ihara Dyeing Co., Ltd. that preserves the beauty of the Kyo-Yuzen tradition.
