This store specializes in Japanese swords, iaido swords, sword accessories, and armor, and displays and sells Japanese swords from all eras, from antiques dating back more than 700 years to contemporary pieces made in the 21st century. Japanese swords are also very popular overseas as ornamental art objects, and custom-made swords by modern swordsmiths can be purchased for as little as 800,000 yen. Mock swords, called iaido, are reasonably priced at 36,300 yen, but they are made by craftsmen with great care, one by one, and have the same dignity and beauty as a serious sword. Custom iaido swords (from 68,200 yen), which can be ordered to your own taste, are recommended for those who wish to have a sword that is more suited to their personal needs.
