Incorporate Japanese traditional techniques into your daily life

This is an interactive concept store of Ando, a manufacturer of kimono accessories established in 1923. Utilizing traditional Japanese techniques cultivated through the production of kimono accessories, the shop offers items for daily use that suit the lifestyles of modern people. Each item is handmade by traditional craftsmen, including bags decorated with the "tie-dyeing" technique used for obiage (obiage) and hair ornaments. The delicate workmanship and exquisite texture of these handcrafted items add a touch of color to daily life. The store also has a workshop where visitors can try their hand at tie-dyeing (reservation required).
