Jikko Hamono, founded in Sakai in 1900, offers knives for all kinds of uses.Both the Sendo-cho store and the Nishiki-dera store carry 100 types of knives, as well as high-end knives called “hon-yaki” and customizable blades and handles. Regular knives need to be sharpened before use, but since Jitsumitsu Hamono is a company that specializes in sharpening, they can be sold already sharpened, which is a unique feature. These “ready-to-use knives” are popular with tourists.
