Seiryoji Temple

A magnifificent ancient temple. Niomon will welcome you.

There are lots of things to see, including the Nio-mon Gate and the Shaka-do Hall in the main hall, which is designated as a national treasure. It is also recommended to take a rest at the cafe "Vagabaan Arashiyama" in the precinct.

  The Reihokan is open to the public only in spring and autumn, and houses statues made for the memorial service of Hikaru Genji model MINAMOTO no Toru.
