Former Kyoto Central Telephone Station is active as a complex facility.

The building, designated and registered as a cultural asset by Kyoto City, was renovated. The building houses a number of restaurants, cafes, and apparel stores, as well as a hotel. The upscale, modern design of the building has won the support of people of all ages.
