A modern former elementary school building is carefully utilized as a base for art.
Opened in 2000, the former Meilin Elementary School building was utilized as is. The space, which was created from the wishes of the local people who were passionate about education, reflects the attention to detail in the corridor and round windows. Exhibitions, stage performances, and workshops are also held here.
It has high architectural value with large windows and a slope, which were rare in those days. Registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
There is also a space for theatrical performances, concerts, and workshop-related information.
