A state guesthouse facility opened in 2005 (2005) to welcome honored guests from around the world. For gardens and buildings, 11 types of traditional skills are used, including sukiya carpenters, plasterers, joinery and gardening, and for furnishings, 14 types of traditional skills, such as Nishijin weaving, lacquer and makie. It is open to the public in the form of a guided tour, and you can see the greatest beauty Japan can boast. Admission is available by advance reservation or by a numbered ticket distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from 9:45 on the day of the performance. Check the official website for details.
