We recommend the Rakkan Butter Sandwich, which is made by kneading white bean paste into the dough to make it melt in the mouth. The plain one is flavored with Japanese butter, chocolate, and maple syrup. The matcha (powdered green tea) is flavored with Uji green tea for a pleasant Kyoto-like taste. Other popular items include Rakugan financier decorated with "Japanese chocolat" made with agar and red bean paste.   A bottle of matcha terrine, lavishly using fragrant matcha from Uji, is priced at 3,564 yen. The matcha flavor, rich taste, and smooth texture are in harmony with each other. Refrigerated for 6 days.

  Rakkan Financier, with ganache decorating the buttery dough, comes in three varieties: raspberry, plain, and green tea, 297 yen each (refrigerated storage for 14 days). Rakkan cookies (237 yen) are available in six varieties (stored at room temperature for about one month).
