Chef's special authentic dishes and beer go great together
This beer restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the OCAT building, which also houses a bus terminal. The spacious 150-seat restaurant serves mainly Asahi beer, which is popular for its fine foam, as well as draft beer from Italy's PERONI. Because of its convenient location directly connected to Namba Station, the restaurant is crowded every day with tourists from overseas and regular customers. The restaurant offers a variety of meat dishes that go well with beer, and the teppan-yaki and shabu-shabu courses using Omi beef from Shiga Prefecture are especially noteworthy. The sweet fat and fine, smooth meat are superb without being cloying, and go great with a well-chilled beer.
The Omi beef shabu shabu course shown in the photo, priced at 12,000 yen, is a full-fledged course that includes hors d'oeuvres and dessert; reservations are required at least two days in advance.
