Enjoy the tradition of Edo-mae with an omakase course!
With the concept of “not too relaxed and not too formal,” the restaurant offers high quality sushi at affordable prices. The style of sushi follows the Edo-mae tradition, and the restaurant focuses on hontegaki, a style of nigiri that requires more hands than the current mainstream kotegaki, and is characterized by its fluffy texture and beautiful appearance. The evening courses are available in two price ranges, 14,600 yen and 18,400 yen, and both are omakase (left-over dishes), with more than 10 pieces of nigiri, grilled fish, and a small bowl of cooked food, making for a hearty and sumptuous meal, accompanied by locally brewed sake from all over Japan. The take-out menu, conger eel sushi on a stick, is also a must-try.
The 18,400 yen course, pictured here, is more luxurious, adding sea urchin and toro to nigiri, and steamed egg custard as a seasonal dish.
