Rare and exquisite “swimming squid” in Umeda

The restaurant also serves straw-grilled bonito at a corner inside the restaurant after each order, so you can enjoy the full flavor of the tataki to your heart's content. The restaurant is only a 3-minute walk from Higashi Umeda Station, making it easy to get to. If you have a craving for squid or bonito, this is the place to go.
The photo shows 100 grams of sashimi of swimming squid directly from Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, starting at 2,600 yen. You can choose the size of the squid and how it is made. Enjoy it with a glass of locally brewed sake.
Upon entering the restaurant, one is greeted by a live squid swimming in an aquarium.
It is also nice to be able to observe the bonito tataki being boldly grilled on a straw grill up close. The aroma of the straw-grilled bonito wafting through the restaurant heightens one's expectations of the flavor.
