The department store was founded about 300 years ago in an original Vories building.
The building was designed by architect William Merrell Vories in a style known as "Vories Architecture." In 2019, the main building was rebuilt for the first time in 86 years. In addition to luxury fashion brands, dining options, and souvenirs, there are many stores where you can enjoy fun experiences!
At the entrance of Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street side, there is a relief of a sky crane which is a symbol. There are other creatures lurking in the store.
You can use it freely. You can see the illumination of Daimaru Shinsaibashi in summer and Midosuji in winter. The symbol Suisyo Tower is nearby.
