Tomb of “Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun”

A huge World Heritage Site where you can feel the ancient romance

It is Japan's largest keyhole-shaped tumulus with a length of 486 m and a circumference of 2.8 km. In 2019, it was registered as Osaka's first World Heritage Site, and is attracting a lot of attention. There is a promenade around the tumulus.

  More than 10 small and medium-sized tombs are scattered around the Emperor Nintoku Tomb, and 44 remain in the Mozu Tomb Group.
