Worshippers from all over Japan visit the shrine to pray for good luck in mon-ey and winning the lottery. かなやまひこのみこと山毘古命が主祭神。かつて鋳物職人が集まった釜座通や、金貨鋳造金属類や鉱山・鉱物を守る金を担った両替町通に近く、金属加工に携わる人々からも崇敬されてきた。現在は全国でも珍しいお金の神様として知られ、金運上昇、招福開運、事業の発展、宝くじの当選など、お金にまつわるさまざまな願いごとをする参拝者が集まる。黄金色に輝くゴージャスな鳥居はこの周辺のシンボルで、本殿にある黄金の鈴緒が存在感を放つ。御金神社金運のご利益を授ける人気神社A popular shrine that raises the fortunes of money烏丸御池Karasuma Oike
