Light art spreads across the vast botanical garden

This is a permanent night museum set up by art collective teamLab at Nagai Botanical Garden in Nagai Park. In the garden, which is about 24 square meters and home to about 1,200 types of plants, digital technology harmonizes with the nature of the garden to create light art. You can freely wander around the garden, and one of its great attractions is the interactive elements that change depending on the behavior of the visitors and the wind and rain. The fantastic lights floating in the forest at night give you the fun feeling of being lost in another world. Also look out for the artworks that change with the seasons.
In "Resonating Microcosm of the Camellia Garden - Solidified Colors of Light, Dusk to Dawn," ovoids placed in the forest shine in their own colors, creating a fantastical world.

  In "Walk, Walk, Walk - Secondary Forest," a computer program continuously draws a diverse group of portraits of people and animals in real time, causing them to emerge from the forest.

  "Sculptures of Birds Scattered in the Wind" is a work that could be considered the symbol of this exhibition. It depicts the energy of birds flying around the sculptures.

  The Autonomous yet Resonating Forest of Life - Eucalyptus is made up of a row of giant ovoids. When a person pushes them aside or the wind blows through them, the color of the light they emit changes and they respond to their surroundings.
