Founded in 1947 in Katsura, where the Imperial Villa is located, the company has dedicated itself to confectionery for three generations since its founder, Hidenori Kanazawa, who was selected as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman." They offer a wide variety of Kyoto-style sweets, focusing not only on taste but also on color and originality. The "Seasonal Assortment: Sai" includes five unique varieties, such as "Seseragi," which expresses the coolness of the Katsura River, and "Shiomizu Yokan," which uses natural salt from Okinawa. It is also perfect as a souvenir.
