This ancient temple, founded in 806, is known for its healing powers for eye ailments. It has also become popular on social media as the birthplace of the "flower water basin," where seasonal flowers float. You can also enjoy experiences such as copying sutras and making pressed flower seals (reservations required).

The Ryuchozuya, a water basin next to the main gate, is filled with flowers of all seasons.
"Okozui" is a sacred water that was prayed for by Kobo Daishi to cure eye diseases.
