A daytime and night trip through the fresh greenery on the Eizan Railway
During the hot summer in Kyoto, the Maple Tunnel on the Eiden line between Ichihara and Ninose stations is colored with fresh green maples. Admire the fresh greenery that shows two different faces, day and night.
The "Momiji Tunnel" is a 250m stretch of land between Ichihara and Ninose Station, lined with approximately 280 maple trees.
Trains operate at reduced speeds on the "rail."

In the summer, the Maple Tunnel is lit up at night. The green maples are illuminated with fantastic lights, allowing you to enjoy a different look than during the day. The trains turn off the lights inside the cars and move slowly.
